Here´s a interview with the swedish band Operation from Kalmar.They play very political punkrock. Check em out! A bit sad that the answers are so fucking short, but what the fuck. Here we go...

How did you start as a band?
We played in different bands, but talked about playing with eachother and so we did.

Have you released anything elsebesides the mini-cd? No

How is the life in Kalmar?
A bunch of good concerts and political actions. Fun to get drunk by the castle.

Have Operation had any gigs?
A couple here in Kalmar, but we would like to play outside Kalmar too.

What do you do beside the band? Do you rehearse alot?
We work or go to school. We rehearse then and then.


What has inspires you to play the music you do?
It just became this way

What is your first reaction when you hear the words...Conflict, Jönköping, A.L.F, Bob Marley and anarchy?
Conflict: spiked hair, agression, fucking good. Jönköping: D.M, Eldstaden and Elderberry. A.L.F:Very good that they exist.................. Bob Marley: Nice haircut and smoke. Anarchy: The only valid society-system.

I guess you are not eating meat, or?
We are all vegetarians.
Do you have any pets?
Emil and D.M are constantly raising up punk-cats.

Do any members play in other bands? No

Favourite movie? book? Martin: Oxen. Emil: Dawn of the dead, Häxor

What has punk meant for you? It has shaped our lives.

"Anarchy and freedom is what I want"? Yes, of course.

Do you like CRASS? Yes.

Considering your lyric on the song "Civil olydnad", I was wondering if you have been active in any direct actions?
Yes.

Tell me a little about Kalmar Autonoma, what kind of actions they do, are someone of Operation with them?
A lot of propaganda, direct actions, yes all you us accept D.M because he now lives in Jönköping.

Futureplans for Operation?
Spread the record and the name and play outside Kalmar.
