Disorder started in 1980, and the bandmembers changed so much that the group called Disorder now is completely different the group called Disorder in 1980, but it has developed out of the same group.

I HAVE HEARD RUMOURS THAT YOU GUYS DRINK ALOT, SO WHAT DO THINK OF ALL THE SXE BANDS THAT YOU ARE TOTALLY FUCKED UP IF YOU DRINK?
I think they are probably right, but it's too boring to sober all the time.

Discharge, Gism, Cadaver, Monthy pythons flying circus, whatever Thor is listening to and a lot of bass and oi.


I DON'T KNOW VERY MUCH ABOUT THE NORWEGIAN HARDCORE SCENE, PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT IT? ( SQUATS , BANDS ETC. )
There are no squats and most things are commercial and expensive. A lot of boring people who wear punk-fashion and hairstyles, all marching in the same direction against the individual free thinking minority.


WHAT DO THINK ABOUT THE HARDCORE SCENE TODAY?
I like it better in Sweden, Norway sucks.


WHAT GOT YOU IN TO THE PUNK-SCENE?
Unemployment, boredom and naive dreams.


DOES ANYONE IN THE BAND GOT A JOB?
GUNNAR ( guitar ) is a bus driver.
RUDY ( vocals ) is a DJ in a nightclub once a week at Jazid in Oslo.
THOR ( drums ) is a part time car mechanic.
TAF ( bass + vocals ) I washed a post office a few weeks ago and I cleaned a couple of offices at BMW and Hertz car hire. But usually I don't work much.


WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

ARE ANY MEMBERS OF DISORDER INVOLVED IN ANY MILITANT MOVEMENTS LIKE A.L.F OR ANTI-RACIST-ACTION?
No not really, we do sometimes stickers campaigns against racists. We are all active non racists. That does not mean that we are militant. We don't go round and look for nazis to beat up. I'm vegetarian, that is the most effective direct action to take against animal suffering and abuse.


HAVE YOU EVER TOURED IN SWEDEN?
We have played a lot of times in Göteborg, but not in the last 3 years. We toured in Sweden and played in Jönköping in 1985 together with the Norwegian band Stengte Dörrer and the Swedish Tatuerade Snut Kukar ( Ta.S.K ). It was a good tour but we ended up for 24 hours in Norrköping police station and was deported back to Norway.


FUTUREPLANS FOR DISORDER? ( a tour in Sweden perhaps? )
I would like to tour in Sweden but the concert organisers must contact us. I think it would be fair if we could get paid 3000kr every time, free beer and vegie food and a place to sleep.
