STORY?, LINE UP?
Oh no! Not that question again. We first got together in ´84, had a bit of hiatus between 86-88. Started playing together again in ´89. The line up is at the moment MARK - vocals, PAUL - bass, BRILLO - drums and COLIN - drums. Don't expect it to stay together for long though.


HAVE ANY OF YOU PLAYED IN OTHER BANDS?
Yes, none really worth mentioning.


DESCRIBE WHAT SARCASM SOUNDS LIKE?
Fast, raw hardcorepunk with a touch ( only a touch mind ) of metal.


WHAT HAS INFLUENCED YOU AND YOUR MUSIC?
Loads of bands have influenced us, just any good hardcore or punkrock. But y´know I don't sit down with a record on and steal other riffs.


WHO WRITES THE LYRICS IN SARCASM?
I do, I'm good at it. I´ll write one about you.

That's me again. Actually Jörg is a good friend of mine and I stay at his place when I'm in Berlin. I'm also in NECRO 1, in the cinema, though I'm only in it for a second.


ADMIT THAT NECROMANTIC TURNS YOUR FAT ARSES ON?
No man, the film that turns me on is "Swedish Homosexuals vol 48" starring two guys called Dan and Fredj. Do you know them by any chance? ( No comment on that question Mark./ red )


DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVOURITE HORROR/SPLATTER MOVIES?
Yeah, I like them a lot of them but what gets me going is the most sick stuff. Real perverse or crazy shit. Gore is ok, but it's so difficult to get hold of uncensored stuff. Two crazy films are BURNING MOON ( german ) and ISLAND OF DEATH ( english ).
Two of my favourite films at the moment are I.D. ( about undercover police infiltrating football hooligans ) and TRAINSPOTTING ( about heroine use, amongst other things. Both films are harsh and brutal and well worth watching.

To be honest with you mate the ep has been out over 5 months now and non of us have even seen a copy of it. ( skivan har garanterat varit ute några månader till innan ni läst det här /red ). If I said Cunto from Scream records is a slack bastard it would be a gross understatement.


ARE YOU SICK & TIRED OF ALL THE DIS-CLONES? ( I'am, for sure )
Too right mate. What makes it worse is that too many bands do such a poet job of it. MEANWHILE is a progression. Though I must say I like DISFEAR and SKITSYSTEM.

OPINIONS ABOUT MILITANT SXE BANDS LIKE EARTH CRISIS?
Yeah we played with EARTH CRISIS, they were ok though we were a bit pissed off 'cos they drank all our beer. The drunken bums.


WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE NEW SXE SCENE?
I honestly don't know a fuck about it, but if it involves emulating americans, wearing baggypants and having an X on your forehead then I'd rather go to the nearest pub for a pint of fermented piss.


ARE YOU VEGAN / VEGETARIAN?
Yeah man, except doughnut on drums who eats everything that gets in his way.


PLEASE GIVE ME A TASTY VEG. RECIPE. ?

VEG CHILI
Get 1 cup of t.v.p chunks and leave to hydrate in boiling water, chili powder, chopped tomatoes, herbs and a touch of sugar for about one day.
Add pepper, salt and any vegetables you like and a couple of cloves of crushed garlic.
Boil until the vegetables are soft and serve with pasta or rice
If you eat cheese grate some and spunkle on the top.

T.V.P = Textured Vegetable Protein

( If you can't get t.v.p chunks in your area the soya mince or tofu or even qourn is equally good. )


FUTURE PLANS FOR SARCASM?
Yeah well we recorded an ep about 6 months ago. Hopefully it will be out one year soon.We are supposed to doing some split ep's as well but we havn't recorded yet. Maybe an album one century.
