Robbie: vocals, Esther: vocals, Oene: bass, Piet: guitar, Maynard: drums
(after that) we split up with Mushroom Attack. Piet, Robbie and Maynard decided to start a new band and with the help from of Joshoa on bass. Fleas And Lice was back born from the grave. Last year Joshoa left us and Oene joined us and Esther also joined us on vocals. About our releases, a split lp with Hiatus, a split lp with Battle Of Disarm, a split lp with Bleeding Rectum on Skuld, split live lp with Mushroom Attack ( last gig ). And a new split ep with Assrash ( Minneapolis ) on Skuld + Profane Existence.

WHY ARE YOU CALLED FLEAS AND LICE? WHAT DOES IT

We couldnÂ´t find a name so we took the name of one of our song called Fleas And Lice. ItÂ´s about when it is getting warmer and we get an invasion from
those little monsters sucking our blood. The only good flea is a dead one.

DO YOU LIKE ZOMBIE MOVIES, AND WHICH IS YOUR
FAVOURITE?
Yeah, we love them. Joshoa our ex. bassplayer was totally into it, but the day he killed his dad, mum, brothers and sister, he even killed the dog and he killed them in the most horrible and perverse way. Then we decided with Fleas And Lice that he was to dangerous to be with in a bus for more than two weeks. We know what he can do to innocent people who becomes victims of his sick brain.

ARE THEIR ANY SQUATS IN HOLLAND?
There used to be alot of squats in Holland but the new laws are making squatting almost impossible, but then again it depends in what city you are speaking about. Piet, Robbie and Maynard are living in squats. The squat of Maynard should soon be evicted.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF SWEDISH PUNK?
Piet: I have just been with Hiatus in Sweden last april and I did meet alot of really cool mental vikings drunk on moonshine, I did enjoy myself alotâ€¦â€¦ About bands I like the old stuff from Anti-Cimex, G-anx, No Security and Svart SnÃ¶. Oene: Scandicore; IÂ´m a big "fan" of the almighty G-anx.

FLEAS & LICE Here's an interview with the excellent band Fleas & Lice from Netherlands. Check out their records immeditely...they are fuckin great!!!!! The two who answered the questions are the guitarist PIET and OENE who plays the bass. Here we go...

DO YOU TOUR ALOT, AND WHICH BANDS HAVE YOU TOURED Yeah, we are touring alot because we love to be on the road, it kills all routines because you donÂ´t know what you can expecte, itÂ´s everyday different, different people, different places nature, food, cultureâ€¦â€¦. We toured with Disorder + Husker ikke, twice with Brawl (Ireland ), Boycott ( Holland ), Concrete Sox, State of Fear ( Minneapolis ). In a matter of fact we are planning late next spring to tour in Scandinavia Fleas and Lice together with State of Fear. DO ANY OF YOU PLAY IN OTHER BANDS? Piet, Robbie and Maynard played in E.N.E ( Extreme Noise Error ) and Mushroom Attack before Fleas And Lice. Maynard also played in Catweazle and Fermented and he is playing now also in P.C.P. Oene played in Chronicore and Yphobia and he is now also playing in Mad Punk Disease. YOUR FAVORITE BANDS? Piet: We all got different taste but but for me it will be the old Discharge. Oene: Discharge (for life ), Crass, D.K. and Michael Jackson. > ARE YOU GUYS VEGANS/VEGETARIANS? Four of us are vegetarians. I think itÂ´s up to you if you wanÂ´t eat meat or not, everyone should decide by himself. WHAT ABOUT THE AUDIENCE, ARE THEY VIOLENT? It is depending on where you are playing. Usually in Holland the public are not violent, it is even sometimes so boring nobody is dancing or moving. I think one of the most violent gigs I saw was in Uppsala in Sweden, but it seems that most of the punks were enjoying themselves. I did enjoy that gig very much. DO YOU LISTEN TO ANY OTHER MUSIC BESIDES PUNK, AND WHAT? Piet: I do listen to other music like ska, oi and reggae. WHATÂ´S THE WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED WHEN YOU PLAYED? Piet: That I didnÂ´t know I was playingâ€¦â€¦to drunk to remember. Oene: The worst thing that happened to me was that I was so drunk that the rest didnÂ´t know what to play. DO YOU HAVE ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE COPS IN HOLLAND? No, not really but they are all bastards anyway. ALCOHOL, DRUGS? We love them except strong hard drugs like heroin, crack and shit like that.
